Valencia from UK

Thinking about going to Benicasim for the FIB festival in August, however can't
seem to get any flights cheaper than £200+ from the UK. How long does it take to
drive from UK, or would there be any ferry services - i.e. from Portsmouth??

Also looking for any package type deals to Valencia, thinking of either a hotel
or apartment. I fancy a tent but other half doesn't like roughing it.

Any ideas??

£200 sounds a lot.... have you tried:

Also consider flying to Barcelona or Alicante and then taking the train if
the price makes it worthwhile...

August might not be the easiest time to find bargains. Keep
checking the cheap airline websites though.

for ferries you could go to Santander in northern Spain and drive
across in a long day, but I doubt it would be that cheap. You are
also looking for accomodation at the peak time of the year. Maybe
you will find a last minute package going cheap?
