Fort Lauderdale Public Water Bus?????

Hi all

I was hoping that in the know could give me some information on public
water bus in Fort Lauderdale. We will staying at the Sheraton Yankee
Clipper and was wondering how far away the bus is from the hotel. Also
wondering about the fares and schedule. I did a search on Yahoo, but
get a listing for a company called Water Taxi. Sounds like this is a
for profit company, rather than a public transportation service, as I
though the water bus was supposed to be.

Also wondering was restaurants are near this hotel.

The Water Bus is owned by Water Taxi, a private company. I bought the
all day pass and it certainly was worth it. They not only provide
transportation but it is also like a tour since they tell you about
various sites that you pass.

Others have given you the link, so you can find restaurants there
(there's also http://www.sunny.org ), but it would be a crying shame if
you missed the Water Taxi.
