Almond villages
According to the Virgin Brochure, Club St Lucia by 'splash' is now Almond
Beach Club, Smugglers Cove and is being completely refurbished over this winter. I assume this is the company who owns almond Beach Club and Village in Barbados. There is now another 'Almond' property in the Virgin brochure on St Lucia - suspect that might be the ex St James ex Wyndham Morgn place. Any one know? The tripadviser reviews still refer to it as Splash/Club st Lucia and reviews from Jan dont mention any refurbishment going on! We went to splash a couple of year ago and had a good time (went with two children and accepted that it was not going to be 5* quality!) tho it gets some VERY bad reviews. The Almond places on Barbados are a LOT more expensive (tho they've been getting some not such good reviews recently). -- Rita Daggett (delete nospam for reply) |
