Default Repairs to Oasis of the Seas

My son-in-law was looking on the Ft. Lauderdale Port Webcam the other
day and he saw men welding on the bow of the ship. Because of the area
they were working on he felt they might have hit something. Someone on
the Cruise Critic website said they were to sail on it last Sat. at 5
but were told it wouldn't depart until 9 pm in order to complete
repairs. Also the itinerary was changed with Nassau the first stop
instead of the last. Another person sailing Sat. asked one of the crew
what was being repaired and he said the lifeboats.
SOL said no lifeboats where he saw them working.
Anyone know what really happened?

What really happened was that some lifeboats were damaged when Oasis
encountered a sever storm in the North Atlantic when it crossed over
from Europe. They are now doing the repairs.
