I am sure John Cleese would want you to get that quote correct, it
was Australian beer. When I was in London the most popular canned beer
was Budweiser. Imagine since I prefer German beer. Frosty cold, which
has little to do with changing the taste for me.

Many Germans do. Those that consider themselves beer connoisseurs regularly
drink cellar temperature beer (about the same temp as 'proper' British beer
around 8-10C).
