i'm visiting this beautiful city in july for the first time and i
was wondering what is the best currency to take. sterling/dollar or Koruna A friend went in 96 and said " i paid for everything in dollars" What's best regards |

Of course, you could pay in some places in dollars, but not for simple things like a bus ticket or a newspaper and in almost all places in euros, but it will be cheaper and easier in koruna. Taxidrivers,restaurants,shops are generally more than happy to accept payment in such currencies as they're cheating you with a bad exchange rate. Much better to exchange money to koruna and pay as the locals (underground and tramway doesn't accept anything else) |
