Maybe because there's tons of pictures of crew rest quarters of airplanes
but hardly any of the crew hanging out in the galley eating and gossiping.
Just a guess.

So there are people who are shocked that workers, even FAs, might
get a break and use it to sit around for a few minutes eating and
gossiping?
