Will the 737 Max be forever stained like the Comet?
A third crash would pretty much seal its fate.
Even if Boeing 737 Max jets are cleared to fly, 4 out of 5 Americans say they wouldn't get on board: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ5smsrodSQ Boeing may have ruined their name for rushing to get a leg up on Airbus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHu0xpIwl_0 Don't want to fly on these planes? Fly Delta. Delta doesn't use the 737 Max: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghC3tzT4u4o |

He also pointed out that even if the system had a problem that made it too difficult for a pilot to override the avionics, there was an easily accessed switch to shut it off. |

Which apparently wasn't part of the training delivered to those without the fancy $w upgrades. Exactly how you can buy _any_ plane without the latest and greatest SW that will run it being in place is a question that the FAA needs to answer. Dhu -- Je suis Canadien.
