Amsterdam - Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum
Can anyone tell me whether in either or both of these two museums,

This group is not the easiest way to get confirmed info.
Your first move should be to check the official websites and lookie ! They are even in english ! Photo & video It is not allowed to make photographs, video recordings or films involving the use of lamps, flash equipment and/or a tripod without the prior written consent of the management of the Rijksmuseum. Thanks. It must have changed, as a few years ago I certainly did take photographs in the Rijksmuseum, although they frowned on flash. I don't think the Van Gogh ever permitted it however.

According to the text above, photography is ok - if you don't use lamps, flash or tripods.
