Default WiFi on Carnival ships.....

We`re looking at a March Break Carnival cruise (last cruise was Nov
2004).

What`s new in 3 years....

Is WiFi available on (any of the) ships...

The New Royal Caribbean Freedom Class ships are the lastest in "new"...
that's what. Largest passenger ships in the world. Surfing pool, ice
skating shows, rock climbing, indoor promenade.

Nothing beats those ships. Period.

We were on the Carnival Freedom this summer. There was WiFi but it's
slow. Using a desktop was a little faster but it's right off the
lounge where they allow cigar smoking so the smell was pretty foul
even during the day.

Yes, although on some of thier ships it will only be available in
limited areas. I mostly just used it in the internet cafe.

Ministumbler told me of many other nets onboard, but none of them
seemed to have any access off ship. OTOH, none of them even had WEP.
