Default Contact Princess? Yeah, sure.

[Lost in cyberspace since 5/21/2005 02:12]

Went to Princes Cruises site to learn the one thing I didn't know: how
much?

After messing around for quite a while, finally did the obvious to get
the following:

SEARCH RESULTS for $
Sorry, no matches were found containing $.

Gee, thanks, Princess, for showing me all the information I had before
the visit to the site but none that I didn't and sought. That visit was
an aggravating, frustrating, total waste of my time.

Hitting "Contact us" resulted in a loop that never revealed an
electronic address.

Of course I didn't do something right but damn'd if I know what.

Don't **** on Princess because they want to support the small
business
person . . . It's nice that the 'little guy' still has a chance once

in awhile.

I'm all in favor of that.

Princess has no pricing information by design.

Then they should say so, prominently, on their site in stead of
stealing at least half an hour of my time while causing me aggravation
and frustration and concluding that I was too stupid and/or
uninformed/underskilled to get a simple answer to a simple question.

I mean, looking for a price for a product or service isn't exactly an
unusual thing to do. NOT providing a price for a product or service IS
an extremely unusual thing to do. Withholding that information, along
with the price, is extremely rude, unconscionable behaviour!

Princess doesn't have prices on their web site. If you want to price a
cruise and don't want to call a travel agent go to Travelocity or Orbitz or
another site that has on-line booking.

If you are looking for discounted prices, use your phone and call around.
Most prices on the internet will be the same as the cruiseline. There are a
few agencies that will discount. Call around.

Call them. That's what I did. It was the same price that most major
cruiseline sites gave me, except that their price didn't leave anything
out.

At first, I was shocked that the Princess direct price seemed hundreds
higher.

It took me and the Princess rep a few minutes to figure up the "little"
items that cruiseline sites leave out (port charges, airport charges,
etc)... and in the end, the price was exactly the same.
