Intra-Asia Biz Class

I have a trip from the SF Bay area to Singapore next month. The client
wants me to fly AA because they get a discount. Of course, AA doesn't
go to Singapore themselves but codeshares on JAL and CX. Looking at
JAL and CX web sites seems to indicate that the space and amenities
for the intra-asian legs are not as good as trans pacific.

Has anyone flown recently on JAL NRT-Sin or CX HKG-SIN that can
confirm or refute my impression?
