I got this quote off Budget site:
Additional Items (included in Approximate Total Charges) Tax 6.50 % PRIVILEGE FEE IF ARRIVING ON A FLIGHT WITHIN 48 HOURS: 9.50 % Vehicle license fee recovery 3.70 USD Rental Surcharge 20.30 USD What is a PRIVILEGE FEE ??? Is that a Florida charge ? or Budget ? |

All the drivers? The CC holder? It sounds like a mess. |

When you rent at the Orlando airport check that the pickup/dropoff

It took us over an hour at Alamo because the lines were so long and then
they had to bus us so far. Alamo is definitely "off-site". Budget and a bunch of others are a short walk across the street from the terminal to the car. The very BEST alternative is to get a membership that allows you to get in the fast line at the terminal, or just walk across the street, get in a car, and present your membership card, drivers license, and credit card at the gate, and then just drive away. |
