Default USA: visa requirements

Hello,

I'm a UK citizen. I'm having a brief (6 day) holiday in the U.S.
during May & June of this year. Literally fly in, have holiday, go
home back to the UK. Just wondered what type of visa I need for this
trip and whether it's one I need to apply for in advance.

Thanks for any information,

Oaf

If your not planning on working or doing any buisness, you dont need a visa
at all, just fill in the green form your given when you check in for your
flight and hand it to the US immigaration when you arrive.

You will need a passport however. Probably stating the obvious but
I've been surprised when people have assumed a passport and a visa are
the same thing.

As long as you have no criminal record and hold a full
British passport you dont need a visa. You can travel under
the visa waiver program.

As a UK citizen you are eligible for the Visa Waiver Program. You can
read about it here
