Well, after a recent trip to Europe I can tell you I would have been quite
happy to stretch out and have a nap in there.

Better chance of sleeping than in a cattle class seat.

All planes should be configured like that, for ALL the passengers. Everyone
would be sedated with an IV drip. No meals or entertainment to worry about. No
restroom lines. No fear-of-flying.

And better security !
(the only downside is people dying from medical complications to the sedative
but hey! it'll be safer !)
