Default Do you have experience with a One World ticket?

I am looking for advice from someone who has actual and if cpossible
extensive experience with AA's One World Award ticket.

Apparently many partner airlines set aside very few seats for such
awards and, when you ar etalking to "reservation" seats are diffciult
to come by even if the flight is almost empty.

However, my question is, once you are traveling, would the airport
staff be more willing to let you stand by if seats were available?
