Default driving from France to Spain in late March in a VW T4 camper

Hi
i was thinking of driving from france to spain, and was wondering the
best/easiest route taking in the Pyrenees.

Do I require snow chains, and are there any places to camp/explore wild life
in the Pyrenees.

Mainly interested in how difficult a drive it would be this time of year. I
am still waiting for the Rough guide to turn up in the post, and I leave
very soon.

thanks

Eric

This web site is the official web site of the road maintenance service.

As long as you stick to main roads and avoid passes above 1500 m
everything should be OK. A9 and N114 are always open.

If a mountain pass is closed, it will be notified by a "COL FERME"
panel. If it snows take some other way.

Accès to ski resorts and refuges (french only, try babelfish or equivalent).
