Greenville, Alabama
I recently had a business trip through Alabama and decided to stop off
in Greenville, Alabama because it was mentioned in a travel advert as a nice destination. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is simply a small southern town with many of the homes in a state of decay and in need of much repair. There is virtually no recreational facilities except for a small lake park for camping. The golf course is nice but in my opinion about par with the courses in my home of Virginia. Guess you have to hype your town in order to get some tourist dollars. The area looks economically depressed. |
