Default NZ Seafood

We will be in Queenstown, West Coast and then Christchurch. I understand
that the grill lamb or beef will be good almost in any restaurant. Any
recommendation of the seafood restaurant (lobster, oster, etc) ?

By the way, anyone knows the place to buy the canned abalone?

I can Highly recommend FINZ OF SOUTH BAY RESTAURANT & BAR (Kaikoura) *

Best ( but expensive ) seafood restraurnt vited during 4 week tour on south
Island in April 2004

NB You wil need to book at least 2 -4 weeks in advance during summer
/weekend periods !!

PS should Also try the local Kiakoura wine !!
