Default Hamilton Island in Winter

My family and I have holidays in June and we are planning to go to
Hamilton Island. Can anyone tell me if this is a suitable time to
visit and if there will still be plenty of things for my family to
enjoy besides swimming (I presume it might be too cold.)???
