Default Lockers at JFK

Are there any lockers available at JFK these days?

Flying JetBlue out late and I want to stash the luggage and see beautiful
downtown Brooklyn!

I would bet there aren't--but I'd also bet that you can park your luggage
in a secure room, supervised by a real live human being, for a small fee.
That seems to be the way of things at the transportation centers in New
York and Washington these days (and possibly in some other large cities).
It's actually safer for you, because a human being is watching your stuff
all the time, not to mention which you get a baggage check with your name
and contact info with which to reclaim it all. And you can bet there will
be no mix-ups, because the last thing they want is to not know who belongs
to what.

So, when you get to JFK, ask about a baggage check room, put your stuff
there, pay the fee and go see Brooklyn.

There was a manned checked baggage place at JFK 4 2+ years ago. Not
sure if it's still there. it was the only left luggage place then.
