I am planning a mini vacation to Vegas in Oct. I was wondering if I
can get some good suggestions on what to see other than the Casino's.
Also what are some good places to dine at with reasonable prices?

IF no one has already said this, check out the "alt.vacation.las-vegas"
NG. Its fairly active and helpful. BTW, if you are thinking of seeing
Celine Dion at Caesar's, save your money and go to wherever there's
a Cher concert/show instead. Celine's show does not hold a candle
to Cher's. [R]

Check out Chowhound.com - southwest Board for plenty of info on Las
Vegas dining - even reasonable. My favorite is Lotus of Siam, I think
one of the best Thai restaurants in the US - in an awful strip mall on
W Sahara, but well worth the drive.
