Hello,
if you go to Oslo, you can contact Ragnar or Frode. They have many rooms.
Breakfast is not served, but you can use a kitchen.
Prices are very reasonnable (Norway is very very expensive !!). The
street -"hasleveien"- is 10 minutes far from city centre (by bus or tram).
It's really a nice place to go
Their web site is http://www.hasleveien.com

Stockholm has the Lady Hutton yacht moored optimally near the old
town, now open as an affordable hotel. That name's painted on the
ship; the Swedish name is messier but easily findable on the net.

The Anker Hostel in Oslo is great, in my opinion. You can get a private
room. Ours had two twin beds, a full bathroom with shower, a stove, and a
refrigerator.
You pay an extra 60 NOK to get a very filling breakfast buffet at the
adjacent hotel.

I'm not sure if it's open all year or not. The web site is
