Default European Cruise In October 2008

We are planning a European cruise on the VOS in October. Needless to
say we're excited. Any tips on staying in Barcelona pre-cruise and
what are must sees. Our cruise leave on Saturday but we are leaving
Philadelphia the Tuesday night prior so we'll be in Barcelona from
Wednesday to Saturday.

Thanks
Mary

We'll be in Barcelona for 3 days after our March cruise ... I'll have
info after that ...
We're staying at an eclectic hotel called the Chic and Basic Born ...
which seems very interesting ... and close to a lot of what we are
planning on seeing ... Sagrada Familia at night is a must in my
opinion ...

Barcelona is a wonderful place to visit, but be aware of your
surroundings at all times ,many pick pockets there.

Yes, I've heard that pick pocketing is a sport in some European
destinations including Barcelona. It is a concern but we'll be aware
of our surroundings and carry little with us at any given time.
