The costs/charges depend on *your* bank, so ask them. And do not only
look at the charges, but also at the exchange rate which goes with
*that* charge.

And as others mentioned, have some cash to carry you over the next few
days in case there is no ATM (or it is closed/empty/broken/whatever).

And get more than one card, in case it gets lost/stolen/broken/
swalllowed/whatever.
