Laptop use in OZ
I seem to remember that the tone dialling frequencies for Australia are
different to US but not sure fopr UK Most modems can be country selected if required. Freda -- Please reply to the list as my email address is a fake "al" wrote in message om... Hi, I am travelling to Australia from the UK. Should my laptop modem work OK when dialling up from out there or will I need to get an international modem. The laptop is new (only bought this year). Thanks.
