Frances Goes to Club Med (includes Columbus Isle news)
She visited four of their seven Caribbean/Atlantic clubs (Turquoise,
Columbus Isle, Paradise Island, and Sandpiper). The Florida club is near St. Lucie, right where Frances made landfall, but the Club website says it's mostly OK. The Columbus Isle is closed for at least a month. http://www.clubmed.com/cgi-bin/clubm...etails.jsp?BV_ @@@@&BV_EngineI D=ccckadcmhihhhglcflgce fkdffhdfhg.0&PAYS=115&LANG=EN&NEWS_ID=115_hurrican e_update&LANG=EN&PAYS=1 15 (The other three clubs in that region are Punta Cana, Caravelle, and Bucaneers, plus St. Lucia, which is closed but still on the books.) -- Visit my Iron Age Pages for technical and fun stuff (holiday specials, too)! http://pages.prodigy.net/feaudrey |
