Dear Yahoogroups subscriber:

Recently, I have become very disillusioned with a small group of
supposed ship fanatics who I hitherto respected. Because of their
continued censoring, harassing and immature actions towards other
posters they disagree with, I have decided to disband and delete (with
the exception of the SS NORWAY group) the Yahoogroups I originally
established. It is no longer a pleasure for me, especially when I
must "babysit" these few folks . . . former friends . . . who have
been the troublemakers.

If anyone else would like a forum in which to discuss the specific
ships/lines, you are more than welcome to organize one of your own on
Yahoogroups or elsewhere. In the meantime, there is the Liners List
for ship discussions.

Sorry if anyone is inconvenienced or upset.

Karen Segboer

What a shame that a few imbeciles have to destroy something that I have
gotten so much from. I will miss the UnofficialHAL group. I've met some
wonderful people there.

have to be bothered with those who are only happy when they make life
miserable for someone

Joyce, I know you're familiar with the HAL Yahoogroup, and I know you
would be very surprised at the identity of the offenders.
Unfortunately, much of the nonsense went on in private e-mails between
the harassers and the victims and on other ship-related Yahoogroups.

Gee Karen, I didn't think HAL regulars were spirited enough to get
offensive about anything.
