Default Shopping hours - NYC

Anyone who can help telling me what are the stores hours in Manhattan on
Saturdays and Sundays ? Especially for Dept. stores like Macy's and
Bloomingdales.

Thanks

Depends if it's a holiday or not, probably find out online though

I think Macy's may not open until noon on Sundays, but Saturdays
all stores should have normal business hours, which in NYC extend
into the evening. You will have plenty of time to shop wherever.
Most clothing stores are open on Sundays.

Ironically, not for Macy's. I tried to check store hours before my
trip to NYC in July, and I was surprised that Macy's site lists almost
everything for the Herald Square store *except* the hours it's open:
http://www.macys.com/store/event/ind...rch&storeId=70

Bloomingdale's provides store hours online:
http://www.bloomingdales.com/store/i...40002&x=18&y=8

Saks Fifth Avenue's site does _not_ list store hours:
http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/Entry.jsp

Nor does Bergdorf Goodman:
http://www.bergdorfgoodman.com/

Lord & Taylor _does_:

While New York is the city that never sleeps, at least its retail
clerks are able to. While you're able to buy groceries or DVDs
practically anytime in Manhattan, both Bloomingdale's and Lord &
Taylor close at 7 p.m. on weekends.

Depends on the store, but typically business hours for most retailers in
NYC on a Sunday are around 10:00am - 6:00pm and 9:00am - 8:00pm on
the other days of the week. If you have a question about a particular
store, check to see if that store has a web site (many do). If you
find a store's web site, just check there for the store's business hours.
