Default Delta: Let's Pack 'Em In

According to AvWeek this week, Delta Airlines is decreasing available
seat pitch on it's 767-300ER aircraft to add additional rows in coach.
This is their response to competition from JetBlue and a similar move
perviously announced by American for AA 757s and A300s...

Suck it up boys and girls....

Delta already had some of the tightest pitch in the industry. And that even
includes their low fare carrier Song, which has 34". JetBlue has 34" in the
back half of their 320's; 32" in front. Some others:

1. American - 34"-35" on the "More Room" fleet
(F100's,MD80's,767's,777's,737's); 31" on the 757's and A300's;
2. ATA - 32"
3. AirTran - 31"
4. Continental - 31"
5. Delta - 31"
6. Frontier - 32" on Airbuses
7 Northwest - 31"
8. United - 31"
9.. US Airways - 31" (some 32")
