Aqaba/Petra taxi?
Can one reserve a cab or van to take 2 or three couples from Aquaba
to tour Petra for a day off the ship? Does anyone know what this might cost? The $360.00 that Princess charges per couple sounds like an awful lot for such an excursions. Elmer |

Aqaba/Petra taxi?
Dear Elmer:
Here are some links to tour operators in Jordan. Hope it helps. Driving distance from Aqaba to Petra (one way) is 130 km, and I think a taxi would be too expensive. Try a minivan tour (7 to 9 seats). http://www.aquamarina-group.com/Excursions.html http://www.jordansinaihotels.com/aqdaytrips.htm#Petra http://www.1stjordan.net/jordan/travel.html http://www.tzc-travel.com/tours.htm http://www.nyazi.com.jo/Tours/T_privat.htm Regards Eldad |
