Default Children's fiction set in the Sahara desert

'Sophie and the Albino Camel' was published last year and was
shortlisted for several prizes (it won the Glen Dimplex 2006). It's an
adventure story set in Burkina Faso on the edge of the Sahara desert.
Ever been there?

I have two more books coming out this year, 'Sophie and the Locust
Curse' and 'The Yellowcake Conspiracy'. I launched a website today and
am very excited about it. Come and see.

Do you think it's too yellow?
