You need spam filtering. Both my email program and my ISP filter spam. Only a few spams get thru every week. If Webtv does not do it and your Webtv email does not filter you are out of luck. Perhaps Jeff Gersten can shed some light on the subject. -- Charles |

You're saying that webtv doesn't provide any spam filtering? Then your only option is to go to a real internet provider. Bert This is a good suggestion. But in Surfer's case, she'd have to buy a computer first. WebTV is television based and doesn't require a computer to be used. -- ________ To email me, Edit "blog" from my email address. Brian M. She could sign up for a Gmail account and start using that instead (assuming WebTV handles their website well). They do a decent job on spam. Bill |

Maybe this will help at least for a short time. I saw the list on another site of the ones that were shutdown but I'm not sure where it was reported. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010...online-piracy/ |

Homeland Security is shutting down sites that infringe on copyright. File Sharing sites. Don't know what that has to do with Homeland Security....... -- Charles |

If Microshaft really cared, ... Well there's the rub. they have already discontinued support on the equipment so they really don't care! It is scheduled to be taken down in the future ... he didn't know if it was a month, year or longer since that division is too tiny to matter. They did the same thing with their game playing site for those that purchased MS PC games. Three or four years after their last issue of an online game, they shut down the ZONE.
