Trip to Austria
****ed of is not the word I would like to use but lets see what you all
think. I packed all my make up, nail polish, nail repair stuff, toiletries etc in individual plastic zipplock baggies one with make up stuff one with nail stuff one with toiletries all in my suitcase. Ok now you say ok good girl. Well guess what happened when i arrived in the hotel and i opened my suitcase those sob had open every bottle and container and did not close them and also not the zipplock baggie all my cloth and shoes stink and the stuff around the baggies is ruined. What a nice way to start a vacation. On the return trip they did not even close the suitcase just taped it (no it was not stuffed) When I confronted the airline all they said was "so sorry". *******s! Oh and yes I am a old teed of Lady. Is this common? I want to go next year again to Vienna but I am afraid I might have to buy new cloth again over there. What can i o to prevent this? Thanks servus, tschuess, baba austrian by chance, AMERICAN by CHOICE, VIENNESE FOREVER |

Thanks servus, tschuess, baba austrian by chance, AMERICAN by CHOICE, VIENNESE FOREVER You should also see a note by the TSA telling you your bag has been gone over. File a complaint to TSA and demand compensation. You need to be prepared to furnish receipts for things which got damaged. At lease I did. Two years ago I had my digital camera stolen in a checked bag. Whether it was stolen by TSA I don't know. When I arrived at the destination in my hotel I found the TSA note and my camera missing. I filed a claim againt TSA. I got compensated for 50% of the purchase cost of the camera. Prior to that I never thought twice putting my camera in the checked bag going to one particular destination for the past three to four years. That trip which I found the camera stolen was to a different detination. But I learned never to put anything of value in the checked bag ever again. |
