The Cottage, Cat Island Bahamas

The Cottage is a great place for a vacation "Away from
it all". Cat Island is one of the outer Bahamas islands and
is quite undeveloped as a tourist spot. If private, secluded
beaches where you are unlikely to see anyone else, clear
seas with undamaged coral reefs below sound attractive to
you, then Cat Island is definately the place for you. On the
other hand, if you are looking for shopping, night clubs or a
highly organized vacation, then we really cannot recommend
the Island!

However, in recent years there are more stores, with a wider range
of goods than previously available, for provisions, wine, beer,
frozen meat and fish. The prices can be a little steep so we always
suggest that visitors bring as much as they can from the mainland.

The Cottage can sleep up to sux persons in two bedrooms and a large
sleeping loft. There are two bathrooms with walls of glass looking into
a walled garden. A large living room and dining area open onto the stone
patio which leads out to the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped.

The owners, Duke and Shirley Reinke, have lived on Cat Island for well
over 30 years.

The Cottage is available for $1000.00 per week for 2 people with an
additional $100.00 per week for each additional person, including
children and infants, up to a maximum of 6 persons.

For futher information or to check availability, take a look at the
website: http://www.cat-island-properties.com or call John and
Allison Grayson on (401) 463-3763.

You may also check availability on the web page
http://www.cat-island-properties.com/availability.html or make a booking
request on http://www.cat-island-properties.com/reserve.html

We hope to hear from you soon!

John and Allison,

Is the cottage still available for rent? The web site is down. We had
rented the cottage several times and greatly enjoyed it.

I look forward to hearing from you!
