I loved the comment this morning... "The security staff who man the passenger security points were caught up in the employees queue for the staff security checks, and so opened late..." -- William Black I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach Time for tea. |

Brilliant! "Made in England" eh? I have a nasty suspicion that it's: 'Built in Britain, owned by Spaniards, managed by idiots' It seems that the delays at the security check points was caused because junior staff can't get a parking space at T5 and have to park their cars a fair way off while senior people get parking spaces near the terminal they work at... So all the suits were at their desks being important, and all the baggage handlers and security staff were still walking to work, which is why they were at the back of the staff security queues... -- William Black I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. See Denver International, Bangkok, etc. etc. More the norm than an exception. The only one I remember being basically flawless was Inchon. Which is why no one ever heard anything about it's opening. |

Heathrow's Terminal 5 opens to chaos
How was the opening of T3 in Singapore in January? I had no problems with T3 when I went thru in the first week on my way to Amsterdam.. I wish it had a swimming pool like terminal 1. The showers are a great refresher anyway. cheers Glen |
