I look a look at the OAG, which says Swiss flies a MD-11 to Zurich.
Other than that, nothing I can see.

I believe Delta does, not sure which airport. I think Midway, from Atlanta.
I know they fly 747s to O'Hare, but those come from San Juan and St. Thomas.

Uh-huh. Sure they do. Delta doesn't have a single DC-10s or 747 in
its fleet.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single airline that flies
DC-10s out of O'Hare (unless you count FedEx). As for Midway, are
the runways long enough to take a DC10 safely?

Skyguide says just Swiss, as already posted. As to runway length, it's a
pretty good bet that MDW is too short for scheduled D10/M11 service. For
that matter, any twin aisle. I'd guess the "biggest" thing in and out of
MDW are ATA's 753's.

SWISS flies MD-11s, not *quite* the same thing (I know, I know).

Out of curiosity, I looked it up. The longest runway at MDW is 6,522
feet. FAA's minimum landing distance for a DC-10-30 at sea level is
5,660, desired landing distance is 6,600.

I'd guess the "biggest" thing in and out of MDW are ATA's 753's.

Northwest's, too. I was on a Northwest 757 from MDW to MSP earlier
this year.

You may be right. I know they replaced at least some of the 747s with
L1011s. And the DC-10s were sent to do exclusively Hawaii flights.

I've landed at Midway on DC-10 several times on Air Florida and Capitol.
Also TWA once from JFK.

No 747s, no L1011s, and no DC-10s (only MD-11s, and those are probably
parked in the desert by now).

Also TWA once from JFK.

I don't believe you. I don't think TWA ever operated any DC-10s.

No they did not and DC - 10's have never operated out of MDW...

DL did once have 747's but that was 30+ years ago....

Capitol operated out of ORD AFAIK...

In other words, it's possible but not advisable, right?
