Default Mediterranean ?

Hi folks,
Am thinking I would like to take a Mediterranean cruise next. I am a big fan
of warm weather, but not stifling hot. What time of year would be good in
that area to cruise? Thinking Italy, Greece, Spain, etc.

I would think either May or September would be nice. Probably
September would have less tourists.
