The bow certainly has the most up-and-down forward-to-back movement in
the ship -- that is, it moves the farthest when the ship climbs a wave
directly in front of it. The fulcrum is actually aft of the ship's
midpoint, so you get the least movement about 55 or 60% of the way
back.
