Guadalupe and Martinique lodging suggestions
Can't help you on the vegetarian issue, but here's an article in today's NYT on
Guadeloupe: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/03/21/tr...uadeloupe.html I have stayed at the Canella, which mentioned in the article. But, that was four years ago. I would say that its a nice place for a family, especially since the place does come with a kitchenette which has a smal fridge and two electric burners. On Basse Terre, we stayed two years ago at La Flute Enchante, in Deshaise. That may work for you too, since the lodgings are composed of two floor bungalows. Its not directly on the beach, but is only a five-ten minute walk to Grande Terre. Hope this helps. |
