Default Travelling in Cyprus

Somebody wanting to travel all around Cyprus in the spring, will they easily
be able to find bed and breakfast places with vacancies willing to take them
in for just two or three nights?

Don't expect that it's like the Greek islands where you can easily find
private rooms for rent wherever you go. The holiday industry on Cyprus is
very much oriented towards the package holiday, with lots of hotels and
self-catering apartments in the resorts around the coast relying mainly on
block bookings from the tour companies.

In the spring though, hotels are unlikely to be fully booked and you should
be able to find rooms available provided you stick to the resorts around the
coast. Inland you may have more difficulty depending on exactly where you go.

The food is good as well, just ask for the Fish Friar or
the Chip Monk.

This was irwell's monthly contribution, everyone say "thank you" and off he
goes back to his booze.

Gosh - that takes me back! I first heard that joke told by Frank Muir on the
Radio show "My Word" sometime in the 1960s.

Glad you liked the reminiscence, I think the original
joke was set in Greece.
