February, March is great for witnessing Wildebeest births.

A real spectacle.

May & June are also very good to see the migrating wildebeest

and zebra on the Serengeti.

Jan to March is also low tourist season. You'll pay lower prices for any
expeditions and avoid over crowded resorts

Unfortunately, this is not true. High season rates for lodges remain
in effect till the end of February. Low season for most lodges
(Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti) is March 1 to July 1.

How do I know? I am looking at them, supplied to me by the
lodges I use.

Do you know whether there will be flooding or too muddy road that
traffic will be blocked? And how dispersed the game will be during
"long rain"?

From some information, there should not be all days rain during April or
the "long rain" season. But I am not clear how frequent is the rain in
the season. How regular the pattern is?

For the price, do you have an idea about how many percentage be
discounted off during the period?

I simply would not go out on the Serengeti in March or
April unless I had no choice at all. The vehicles
are 4-wheel drive, but these are 2 of the months when
rain is most likely. Check this out:
