Default Places in America to go where im not depending on a car

On 06/21/2004 9:08 AM Ben Smith after palpating a Gingko,
electronically interjected:

Is there any places Places in America to go where im not depending on
a car, as i cannot drive?.

Many Thanks,

Ben Smith

Has anybody mentioned Pennsylvania Dutch Amish Country. You can stay at
an Amish or Mennonite farm and have a family member drive you about by
horse and buggy. There are several farms that take in guests. On some
you can participate in helping the family with farm chores. On others
you don't have to do so.

I've often read posts in this newsgroup about people wanting to know a
destinations people and culture in a more pure form. It may not be for
everyone, but this is definitely a way to get to know Pennsylvania Dutch
on an everyday basis.
