Contiki/STA alone--common?
24m considering doing a Contiki or STA tour all by my lonesome. 10-12
days in Europe. Will I meet cool people? Buddies backed out of travel plans.

You will meet a lot of heavy drinkers wanting to hook up, and a small minority of saddish introverts. If you just want to meet people, hostels will do the trick nicely.
