We are going on NCL in nov. we do not really prefer NCL,but when the
price is really low for a 14 day cruise,we take it,at least we will be
at sea for 7 days.love those sea days.

JEAN:
We are going on the NCL MAJESTY from philadelphia to the cribbean and
back to charleston south carolina, the 14 day cruise was only $600.00
including port tx's ,we thought it a good deal even tho we have been to
all the ports,we will only get off the ship, walk around a bit,and then
take advantage of an almost deserted ship.(we hope)

You too, Jean.

Thank God, ours will be over before we leave. We only have to put up with
the negative (political) advertising for about six weeks for our federal
election and not two or three years like in the USA. I wonder what coverage
we'll have on the Regatta about the US election.

It should be interesting, NTL.

That's for sure, Tobie...we may even do early voting since we leave for
Barcelona on Nov.7th. You are so lucky to have to put up with all the
political shenanigans for just six weeks...
Wish that they would put a limit on it here in the US..

It will be interesting to see how much we get news wise on the
Regatta...let's just hope it is not just from NBC & CBS!
CNN really sensationalized the hurricane in the Houston/Galveston area while
we were on the European river cruise in September that I was almost afraid
that we would not have a home to come to...thank heavens for the text
messages from family! I know there was a great loss of life and damage, but
they tried to outdo each other just for ratings and frightened
people who would not even be involved... Also their reporting of the
disaster on Wall St. made it sound as we would not have any money left when
we returned as Merrill Lynch handles a large portion of our retirement
funds...fortunately we invested conservatively with few risks.

See you and Barb next month, God willing!

My agent just got back from this ship and thoroughly loved it, It was
her first NCL and she rebooked when on board for next year, she said
do not believe those bad reviews, yes its smaller then the voyager
class of ship, and she is really a celebrity sailer, but she said that
she liked this as much if not more then the Zenith, and the food was
suprisingly good and a great staff, She wrote a very good review of
this ship if anyone is interested

YES pricing is very inexpensive... I just worry about the money flow
of NCL
