Default Budapest: Airport to City transfer

Hi,

I will be visiting Budapest next week and was intending to travel from
the airport to the city by using the bus and metro.

Does anyone know if the "Budapest Card" will enable me to make this
journey? Most of the the 'evidence' I have seen suggests that, yes, I
can buy it at the airport and use it for travel to the city.

However I have seen other sources of info that say that the Budapest
Card is only valid for travel in the city centre.

If anyone can offer any advice it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Basil

You can get a minibus for around HUF 2100 at the airport which operates
pretty much like a taxi service. Otherwise a taxi will cost around HUF 5500.
Go to the baths, especially szechenyi and rudas. Terrific.

If you choose that option (and I would recommend it for convenience)
get a return ticket for, I think, 3500 HuF.

Herself says that I have become a proper writer: I got stuck.

I'll dig it out soon, and see if I can rescue it.
