Default Boat from Ko Lipe (Thailand) to Langkawi (Malaysia) ?

I heard there is a boat from Ko Lipe (Thailand) to Langkawi
(Malaysia).

Does anybody know

- how often / what time it goes?

- how long it takes?

- how much?

- do I need a Malaysian visa beforehand (EU Passport) ?

Or would it be easier to go back to Satun from Ko Lipe first?

Cheers, Ernst.

We last in Langkawi in March There wasn't anything running then. Perhaps one
of the Langkawi resorts have started running a boat out to there.
No visa needed beforehand - just the usual form filling
