Default American dollars is plunging: NO MORE TRAVEL!

Your post just shows the immense ignorance of the anti_Bu****es. To
wit:

I am not sure what G. W. Bush is doing but the American dollar is getting
weaker every day and virtually every where in the World, including South
Pacific, Europe, and Japan!

Weaker equals cheaper exports from the US and costlier ones from other
parts of the world. Which would you buy--the cheaper or the more
expensive? You will find out when European exports plunge. This is
also why the Asian currencies aren't falling as much as the Euro.
They, of course, realize this and are taking counteraction, making
them less competitive against the US but more against the Europeans.

Is it a part of Bush's "stragetic initiative" to confine the Americans from
expanding their knowledge of the world? Or is it simply his stupidity that
causes this embarassing disaster?

No, it's your stupidity for not understanding what you are posting
about. If you had a clue, you would know that the main factor are the
trade imbalance (which will move toward correction through the
mechanism cited above) and interest rate levels (which are low in the
US the help the economy develop). Raise interest rates and the dollar
will strengthen but the economy will slow? Which do you prefer?

For those who want to jump up and defend Bush, if you think this cast of
blame is unfair, think of the boost in Bush's approval rating after
Saddam's captu Bush does not deserve any credit for the capture of
Saddam but his handling of the economy has every thing to do with this
drastic plunge of the American dollar and the integrity of the American
values.

Not unfair, just stupid and ill-informed.

November 2004 is too long to wait for!

For what? For the choice of the Democratic dwarfs to lose in a
landslice?

You say that like its a bad thing. What if the US dollar was
over-valued, and is coming back to reality? This is good news
for exporters and the US tourist industry.

Overseas travel is still cheap for Americans. Of course,
finding places where people still like them is getting
harder.

If you'd get off your duff and do some traveling, you'd probably
discover that not many foreigners are influenced by the hate-America
media in Europe and the United States. People abroad will accept you
for who you are and what you are and won't be very interested in where
you hail from unless you insist on being hated. KM

I just got back from Belgium last week following a 3-month stay in Germany
and I must say I would be better off without showing my US passport. The
nice folks of Europe would treat me for who I was...until they learn that I
was an American. Yes. It's true that that the positive image of the US has
been tarnished by the arrogance and boastful attitude projected and
enforced by the US president George W. Bush.

Great going George!

Must be you. With the exception of Belgium, which has self-appointed
itself the judicial branch of the world in ITS supreme arrogance, I
have been to Germany several times and experienced no such reaction.
And sure we should have listened to them. Then Saddam would still be
in power rather than prison, killing 100,000 or so a year. That was
their answer. Funny they didn;t have that view when Hitler was
killing them isn't it?

To accuse someone who has justified criticism of the US of "envy" is just
one of the many trics used by arrogant Americans like yourself. For once and
for all: foreigners who criticize US policies are NOT envious of a country
which has higher poverty rates, less access to medical care, a lower
life-expectancy, much longer work hours, and less freedom than most other
developed countries in the world.

Yes, you are right. They are too stupid to be envious and oblivious
to what their own governments are doing to them, to wit:

1. they have consistent double digit unemployment

2. their economies are in constant doldrums

3. they have a completely inferior medical system whereas the US' is
widely recognized by even their own doctors as where they would go if
they had a serious illness and where 90% of he world's drugs are
invented

4. longer working hours means a healthier economy. Can you imagine
how bad your economies would really be if others actually worked like
Americans? Then you would have a triple digit unemployment rate

5. we have a lot more freedom than Iraq ever had under Saddam which
has now been reversed since we didn't listen to idiots like yourself.

6..Oh, and don't forget to talk to Chirac about tearing off all those
Muslim headscarves while you are celebrating your freedom twit.

As usual, you don't have a clue. The euro isn't *falling* against the US$,
it is*rising*. And many Asian currencies (such as the Chinese yuan, the HK$
and the Thai baht) are de-facto linked to the US$, so there is no
"counteraction" at all.

Yes, you are right. They are too stupid to be envious and oblivious

1. they have consistent double digit unemployment

Very few countries in N/W/S Europe, OZ, NZ, Japan have "consistent double
digit unemployment". Try again.

2. their economies are in constant doldrums

Nonsense. Try again.

3. they have a completely inferior medical system whereas the US' is
widely recognized by even their own doctors as where they would go if
they had a serious illness and where 90% of he world's drugs are
invented

Bull****. Only available to the rich. Try again.

4. longer working hours means a healthier economy.

Nonsense.

Can you imagine
how bad your economies would really be if others actually worked like
Americans? Then you would have a triple digit unemployment rate

So our unemployment rate would be higher if we worked like Americans? How
does match your stupid remark # 4? You are so stupid.

5. we have a lot more freedom than Iraq ever had under Saddam which
has now been reversed since we didn't listen to idiots like yourself.

Who is talking about Iraq. Apparently, they love you there. Another 3 US
soldiers killed today. How many more to go before Bush realizes it is time
to go home.

Wrong. Try the two biggest, Germany and France for starters and add a
recession to the mix as well.

2. their economies are in constant doldrums

Nonsense. Try again.

See Germany and recession. Biggest economy in Europe. Check out
their failing banks as well while you are at it.

3. they have a completely inferior medical system whereas the US' is
widely recognized by even their own doctors as where they would go if

Showa how completely stupid you are. By Federal law everyone at an
emergency room has to be treated irregardless of whether they can pay.
Both facts I cited are completely correct. And they even now allow
private medicine in Scandinavian countries because they, of course,
found that the public ones offers free medical care that you can't get
because you spend your life on waiting lists. Who pays for that ace?

4. longer working hours means a healthier economy.

Nonsense.

Sure, that's why the US economy consistenly outperforms the Europeans
ones almost without exception. Single digit unemployment, low
inflation, etc. Hardly the case in Europe except for liars like you.

Can you imagine
how bad your economies would really be if others actually worked like
Americans? Then you would have a triple digit unemployment rate

So our unemployment rate would be higher if we worked like Americans? How
does match your stupid remark # 4? You are so stupid.

Of course stupid. There is X demand for your products and services
now produced by Y numbers of working hours supplied by Z number of
employees. The only change would be the Z number of employees needed
going down if they worked longer hours because even in Europe no one
is interested in paying employees for doing nothing. It is simple
math which is obviously beyond a simpleton like you to calculate.

5. we have a lot more freedom than Iraq ever had under Saddam which
has now been reversed since we didn't listen to idiots like yourself.

Who is talking about Iraq. Apparently, they love you there. Another 3 US
soldiers killed today. How many more to go before Bush realizes it is time

A lot longer than cowards like you can stand that's for sure. And the
last poll taken in Iraq (unlike the completely unsupported propaganda
put out by twits like you) showed 68% of Iraqis supported the US
effort. And, btw, 45000 Americans lose their lives on our roads every
year. Should we stop driving as well moron?

6..Oh, and don't forget to talk to Chirac about tearing off all those
Muslim headscarves while you are celebrating your freedom twit.

Yeah very wise. It leaves these the kids the alternative of foregoing
their religious faith, going to private (read Catholic) schools or
leaving school. An option only an European could love. They call
this democracy?

There is a difference between state sponsored religion in school and the
right of religious freedom while attending a state sponsored school. I
really doubr the French would stop someone from wearing a cross to
school, but the moslems are fair game, I guess.
