10 years with an aging population and the number of doctors has grown
roughly 10%. No where near enough to keep up.

And that is why people leave the country for health care.

Are you a bit math challenged?
How in the hell did you calculate 10 percent?

Consultants and nurses aren't doctors. GPs between 10 and 20% per the
numbers above.

Which farm crop?

A crop typical of the region under discussion. There aren't too many
rice paddies around Phoenix or Tucson, but I seem to recall alfalfa
being popular.

In that area, not only alfalfa, but also cotton, onions, oranges,
potatoes, and some chile. In the immediate Phoenix area most of the
farm land is now growing fresh houses. I notice the orange stands seem
to have disappeared there, they were quite common 25 years ago.

No, I meant "heat and air conditioning," just as I wrote.

They have credentials in their specialism.

Which means what, exactly?

Besides, the better practitioners constantly check on things, and
update their knowledge and skills.

So do I.

How many, in what domain, and over what period?

Carole Allen writes:

Well, as for lawyers, when they submit briefings they don't refer to a
recollection of something read once upon atime They cite specific
cases which are on-point.

Do they also do this when giving clients legal advice?

If they relied on some vague assertion,
absent any actual citation to legal authority, either statute or case
law, they'd be sure to have their argument rejected.

Lawyers make such assertions all the time.

Well we won't have to worry about that because at the current
comparative rates of growth it will take China most of a century to
catch up to the US.

Actually, at current rates, it will overtake the United States by
2034, in far less than one century.

China is growing at an annual rate of 9.9%; the USA is growing at an
annual rate of 3.5%. The USA has a GDP of $12.49 trillion; China has
a GDP of $2.225 trillion. It will thus take China 27.8 years to
overtake the United States. There is good reason to believe that the
actual time will be less, since the growth rate of China is
increasing.
