No where near enough to keep up. And that is why people leave the country for health care. Are you a bit math challenged? How in the hell did you calculate 10 percent? Consultants and nurses aren't doctors. GPs between 10 and 20% per the numbers above. Do you know what they mean by consultants? Are you SURE they aren't doctors? Do you know what a GPs is? How about GP as General Practice, and Consultants being specialists. For further assistance, see: http://www.specialistinfo.com/specget.php Now, recalculate. I suspect there has been a substantial increase in the number of Consultants specializing in elderly medical issues. |

Draconian vacation policies for US slave workers
Mxsmanic wrote: Tchiowa writes: Well we won't have to worry about that because at the current comparative rates of growth it will take China most of a century to catch up to the US. Actually, at current rates, it will overtake the United States by 2034, in far less than one century. China is growing at an annual rate of 9.9%; the USA is growing at an annual rate of 3.5%. The USA has a GDP of $12.49 trillion; China has a GDP of $2.225 trillion. It will thus take China 27.8 years to overtake the United States. There is good reason to believe that the actual time will be less, since the growth rate of China is increasing. China has 4 times the population of the US so for them to catch up to the US they have to have 4 times the GDP. Try the math again. Comes to around 60 years. Further your reasoning about time being less is severely flawed for one basic reason. There is one and only one reason why China is capable of growing at 10% per year. It is because there economy is so low now. (Kind of like a company advertizing that it is the "fastest growing" company in the market. Almost always implies that they are just about the smallest.) Mature economies like the US and Europe simply can't grow at that rate. And neither can China for very long. As China improves from "Somalia level almost 4th world poor" to something similar to, say, Thailand they will not be able to sustain 10% growth. Simply impossible. So if you include that simply economic fact into your equation then unless the US collapses China will not catch it this century at all. |

Oh yeah, they had that odd form of socialized medicine with Doctors like Dr. Josef Mengele. I don't think he invented St. Josef's Aspirin for Children. |

Now we expect you to weasel, lie and obfuscate to avoid admitting you were wrong but dont imagine you are fooling anybody, except perhaps for yourself. Ignorance is pardonable and fixable but stubbornly adhering to error is rather sad. this is classic Mixi territory. He knows its hard to make a concrete link between the common winter killer diseases and cold, we all know thousands die every winter from them, he knows he can defend his position that theres no link between colds (say) and winter, you have to decide if (a) hes really interested in the existence of a link (b) do you care enough to present information to prove something observation clearly shows to happen? -- Mike Reid Walk-eat-photos UK "http://www.fellwalk.co.uk" -- you can email us@ this site Walk-eat-photos Spain "http://www.fell-walker.co.uk" -- dontuse@ all, it's a spamtrap |
